Prettiness

We went to a tree farm this year to get our Christmas Tree. You know what's weird about tree farms is that the trees don't look all that big....until you get 'em home. This picture doesn't capture the size. When I was little I used to play hide and seek with my grandma in the tall pines behind their home. Walking through the forest of pines to get this tree was so much fun for me.

  1. You have a lovely tree; nice tradition you have established, going to the tree farm. On our farm in PA we had Scotch pine Christmas trees growing on our property. Every year we kids would wait at home while Mother and Daddy went out to cut down a tree for Christmas. One year the tree was too tall and two big and round for our huge farmhouse living room, or parlor, as we called it. My Dad was not too happy about having to go back out and cut down another one! We donated that huge tree to our church that year.
